During the interview with Lilian and Jeff on 97.2fm, I mentioned there are just too many people to thank. And one of the music friends that I would want to thank a lot is Bevlyn Khoo. We have exchanged many pointers and she has selflessly shared her experience with anyone who is passionate about making good music. Bevlyn has brought with her good energy in spreading the joy of music and the work of being a D.I.Y.
On the 13th Aug, Wednesday, 8pm at University Cultural Center, Bevlyn will be staging her first proper sit-down concert with album sales and autograph session!

I want to assure those who have already written to me for a copy of my limited edition CD Single, I have already reserved for you. I am currently expecting more write-ins, hence I athank for your patience before I can post the CDs altogether to your address yah.
For those who have not written for whatever reason, this is not a hoax, no gimmicks, I am really giving "No Problem" FOC. So don't hesitate to email me and tell me a story of a "No Problem" life experience. With that, leave your Name, I/C, Address and Contact Number. U know, I have been watching and listening to Cai Lilian Big Sis since I was a student. Listening to her singing with Chen Hanwei "Guan Huai Fang Shi" and then watching her take part in a songwriting compettion organised by TCS and partnering Ric singing the competing song. That period was actually when Xinyao was progressing to a more commercial pop writing era and that we were seeing the rise of more local talented youngsters in the music industry.
With quite a bit of hard work, I managed to get into MusicDreamer Cafe (Ai Qin Hai) and realised my dream of becoming a mandarin pub singer. Thanks to Sally (one of the bosses of MusicDreamer) and the seniors who have given me a chance. And ... look who's there too? Lilian Big Sis was singing there too, and just as I thought Dream FMz was singing there too ... I heard they were leaving for good. Anyway, whether it is Lilian or Dream FMz, these people were whom I looked up to in the local industry. Of course there were seniors like the late Sunkist 黄元成老师, 许环良老师, Gary, Zennon, James, Kening, these are people who in one way or another have inspired me to dare to dream about this album.
My point to make is, they are really people who are passion about what they are doing. And Music really does wonder. As much as it reveals character, it develops character as well. As a D.I.Y, I have indeed learnt a lot through music ... about my Life, myself and about others. I make more friends like Jeff. And music has given me the opportunity to be on air with Lilian Big Sis ... and learn from her many many many things. Thanks Big Sis for selflessly guiding me throughout the program and thanks Jeff for your patience. I will keep up with the positive energy that all of you have given me.
That night of local music with local DJs in a local station with local support ... really very touched. And I am positive that local artiste is still very much appreciated and supported by our local people without the need to fly to other country first. We just have to keep believing and keep helping each other. Let's support Singapore Original !!! Let's continue to be crazee about local music, original music !!! And ~~~ stay tune for the clip of interview !!!

Successful Online Launch of "No Problem" CD Single 20/07/2008
Thanks, thanks, thanks, ... I know I have said it many times but still, THANKS !!! More to come ... ... it's crazy, crazY, craZY, crAZY, cRAZY, CRAZY tiring, but it's worth it - For you and for myself. "No Problem" on MyPaper 18/07/2008
On the 18/07/2008, MyPaper reporter Luo Zhenling has selected my CD Single for review. I am really grateful for the chance.
My cousin was the first one to sms me early in the morning and asked if I have released an album. Guess she recognised my baby boy face and then my name. :) I have never mentioned anything to my family about the album, I normally prefer to work hard first and whatever feedback comes next, at least I know I have enjoyed the process and learnt something. And that any negativity is an opportunity to strive harder and any good thing is a bonus to appreciate and keep up the work and excel further.

Finally, 20 July finally arrived - "No Problem" CD Single has successfully being launched online. Thanks Media, Friends and Loved ones for your kindness and support. Your feedback and encouragement is going to help me a long way in this D.I.Y path. By now, I truly understand what it is meant by, "I wouldn't have walked so far without your utmost support." Other than Thank You, I could only promise that I will work even harder and get better each time.
Yes, these few months have been crazy for me and it is definitely going to be crazier as the official launch of my debut album is set to be at 20 Sep (will provide more details soon).
Okie, time for some update.
Firstly, I was invited by a DJ friend Kit to pre-record a music program 音乐风行 on 10/7/2008 at Radio Singapore International. This radio station is on shortwaves and is broadcast to places like Medan, Malaysia and Thailand. My interview kind of mark the closing of the station. RSI is terminating on the 31 Jul 2008. It is upsetting for the fans when the news was announced. These are true supporting fans of a local overseas station. But but, Life has to go on and let's face it with a smile and cope it with No Problem attitude yah. Fans there, tell you a little secret ... Kit actually has had a BIG cry over closure. Guess she misses the BIG FAMILY. It's not easy but we move on yah. And for those who are still interested to find out more about RSI, you may logon to www.rsi.sg/chinese

Crazy Yet "No Problem" - The Baby
I have chosen to keep everything D.I.Y concept coz it is the most natural me. The album that I have been talking about since the birth of this blog is finally launching (yet another 2 months).
But I have decided to do a online soft launch and published a not-for-sale limted edition CD Single "No Problem" prior to the official launch of my debut album. This CD Single is to thank friends and beloved ones who have been with me along way showing their utmost support and encouragement. And of course, those who manage to get a copy of it, whether the media or readers or etc etc ... thanks for the time you have taken to listen to my song and read through my website, thanks for the interviews and articles and all and all and etc etc ...
Help me Spread the word of joy, spread the song of hope, enjoy being loved and appreciate the opportunity ended up in situation not being loved, treasure success and embrace failure. Life is full of Ups and Down, be a baby and be a child, get easy ... let a smile ease all trouble away... ...
